Morning Session 8.30am to 12.00pm 
Afternoon Session 1:00pm to 3.20pm

From 8:20 we have a 'wake up, shake up' programme on the playground to enable the pupils (and parents) to have an active, fun start to their day. 

The register is taken at 8.40am. However, the children are encouraged to arrive at school from 8.30am for early morning learning. The children come into school via two main doors, in EYFS and KS1, through the door to the KS1 corridor and in KS2, through the door into the Y3/4 corridor at the top of the steps in the playground. 

Unless your child is attending an after school club they will leave via their classroom’s outside door at 3.20pm. You will need to let the office know if somebody other than the parent with parental responsibility is collecting your child.  

Children in every class will have a morning break for fifteen minutes and an optional afternoon break for ten minutes, in addition to their thirty-minute lunch play.  During their play times, they have access to a wide range of activities including organised sports, art and free play.  We believe that it is important for the children to be able to 'play hard' to make sure that they can work hard when they are in class.  

CM Sports offer a breakfast club from 7.30am and an after wrap around care club until 6:00.  A charge applies for both these options.  Please visit our wrap around care page.

Throughout the school year, the children have a range of enrichment experiences to support their wider development and specialist teaching opportunities such as sports coaching and music.

School is open for all pupils for a total of 34 hours and 10 minutes (including our morning activities). 

The week is extended for those accessing the wrap around care provision up to a total of 52.5 hours.
